Who we are
HiFi Score (“we”, “us”) operates this website. Contact us via the channels listed on the site if you have privacy questions.
First-party product analytics
We record first-party GrowthEvents to understand how people discover and use Upgrade Paths. Events may include an anonymous ID and session ID stored in your browser, the page path, and optional UTM / referral parameters (for example from social links). We do not store raw IP addresses long-term with these events; IPs may be used briefly for rate limiting and discarded.
Accounts and email
If you create an account, we store your email, display name, optional handle, and related profile data needed to run the service. Transactional email (password reset, club digests, and similar) is sent via Resend. We only send marketing-style club mail when you opt in.
Cookies and consent
Essential cookies keep you signed in and secure the site. Optional analytics (Google Analytics) load only after you choose Accept analytics on our consent banner. Your choice is stored locally as hifi_consent_v1. You can clear site data in your browser to see the banner again.
Social and UTM links
Links we share on Instagram, X, and elsewhere may include UTM parameters so we can see which channels drive visits. Those parameters are captured in GrowthEvents as described above; they are not sold.
Retention and rights
Account data is kept while your account exists. GrowthEvents are retained for product analytics and may be aggregated or deleted over time. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data — email us to request this.
